Children everywhere know about Where's Waldo and its lanky star. Between the ton of books, posters, and other merchandise bearing the brand, it's kind of hard not to find Waldo, and he even popped up on 16-bit consoles. Lamentably, there's nothing fun about searching for a guy who looks like an overgrown Christmas elf and spends his time hiding in public places. It's especially not fun when it takes longer to read the manual than it does to complete the game. Read our full review of The Great Waldo Search, and then see if you can find the trash bin. That's where Waldo should be.

Evander Holyfield shocked the boxing world when he took the heavyweight championship from Buster Douglas. It was only Douglas' first defense, and the defeat demoralized him so much that he retired from boxing. Holyfield, on the other hand, went to make history as the only man to win the belt four times. Along the way, he found time to endorse a Genesis game, which like his skills, was light years ahead of his predecessor. "Real Deal" Boxing featured great visuals and solid gameplay, and it had an interesting customization dynamic that is still fun to play today. Read our full review for all more details.

Normally, we don't update on weekends. However, the death of pop icon Michael Jackson moves us to offer up something in tribute. Jackson was a man who was closely tied to Sega for a decade, from his initial Moonwalker title to the rumors surrounding his involvement in Sonic 3 and his later appearances in both Space Channel 5 games and Ready to Rumble. His link with Sega is now forever broken, but Genesis fans still have the great Moonwalker to cherish and play. Read our Double Take on this unique game, and share in the MJ memories.

Those lucky enough to play Sega's G-LOC in the arcades were treated to an awesome spectacle, filled with intense graphics and sound and an interactive cabinet that would yaw, pitch, and roll with the yolk's movements. It simply had to be experienced. Sega eventually brought the game home, but the effort was considerably different, as much of what made the original so special was the dynamic arcade unit itself. I suppose you can move to and fro in your recliner as you play the Genesis version, but something tells me it's just not the same. Read our full review, and you'll see why at least the LOC part of the name aptly applies to this unexciting port.
