Long before there was Justice League Unlimited, there was the brawler Justice League Task Force. The difference in quality between the two is apparent almost immediately, and you may find yourself wondering how such a cool concept could have ended up so thoroughly mediocre. Spider-Man vs.the Kingpin CD features tons of improvements over the other versions of the game, as it actually makes great use of the CD medium. The addition of a revamped soundtrack, improved graphics and audio, a completely overhauled level progression/game exploration system, a slew of hidden items, and tons of short animated cinemas at certain points in the game that really add to the Spidey experience.
A true classic, this was the first super hero title to be developed around the character’s powers. Other games simply plopped a hero into a standard action game, but Technopop built this one from the ground up specifically with Spidey in mind.
Lethal Enforcers is one of the finest shooting games ever made. It’s the predecessor to games like Virtua Cop, Time Crisis, and House of the Dead, without it, these games simply would not exist. The game is simply spectacular; the graphics are stunning, and the sound is amazing.
Aerobiz Supersonic was released in 1994 for the Sega Genesis and is the sequel to the 1993 sleeper hit, Aerobiz. The game was developed and published by Koei, a company with a strong reputation for making games that one must think their way through.
