Hentai has been around in gaming for the longest time, but very rarely has it ever tried to go mainstream. When it does, it's usually nothing more than a half-baked attempt at trading gameplay for some cheap T&A. Divine Sealing is one such unabashed example of a game trying to cover up its glaring faults with digital nakedness, and contributor David Wilson managed to stomach it long enough to write a full review (http://www.sega-16.com/2006/04/divine-sealing/). Honestly, when nudity is no help, you know something is very, very wrong...

I really hated the game at first, then I gave it a second chance, then I took a nice long cold shower, and tried to repress the memories of this game and the shower.

Japan's strict censorship laws are to blame. Typically genitalia are either pixelated out or just not drawn at all.

Yeah, I always found it hilarious that Japan has so much porn in just about everything and have their porn so easily accessible yet they censor genitalia. I mean... I mean... you're already being incredibly lewd you might as well go all the way.

Not that... it bothers me... of course *whistles innocently*

Not the sort of game I would ever buy to play, I would most likely buy it just because it sounds absolutely terrible, just like I would buy Earth Defense just because it is terrible. For some reason, I have an obsession with owning things that are terrible.

Yeah. So I was bored tonight and was flipping through ROMs on my Xbox and saw this game. I grabbed a drink and just kind of said 'what the heck'. And now, here we have screencaps of all the goodies of Divine Sealing, so you, too, can experience this horrible, horrible shmup without actually having to play it.

As a note, this game is shit. It's balls hard (I had to use save states) because the enemies and bullets all blend into the freaking background and you just get it from behind (heh) all the time. Damn. AND YES, I know there's a filter turned on. I like Advance Mame, so sorry if you object.
