Hiya guys,
At the suggestion of the nice admin that kindly added me to the links section, here's a small add for my new UK-based retro store.
http://www.comicalgames.com
Lots of Mega Drive and Genesis titles available and lots of other Sega gear.
Please note that the website isn't set up (yet) to automatically cater for shipping abroad, although I have done this in the past with no problems. If you spot something you'd particularly like to buy, let me know and I can process your order manually.
Aside from that, any and all feedback on the website is welcomed. thanks!

I'm having a bit of trouble just browsing the site. I was looking at Master System games and I pressed the BACK button on my browser (I use Firefox) and it keeps giving me a warning that the previous page contains POSTDATA and asks me to confirm if it's OK to go back. Same when I press the forward button. I click to go to page 2 of the SMS listings but says it cannot find the page.

It's doing the postdata warning because you'll have selected which console/type to browse from the dropdown list which is a form submission. Because the page is generated as a result of the form, it'll ask you to confirm if you click back to it.
Not sure how you're getting the page not found, I've tried to recreate this but can't. Any additional info? Thanks.

I only seem to get the POSTDATA thing when I selct from the drop down menus. Otherwise it is fine. As for the page not found, it seems to have gone away (the error, that is). I am sad to see you do not have Out Run 3D.

Very interesting. I am browsing the store now. What type of payments do you take? Paypal?

Nice site you've got there mate. Don't know where you obtained such masses of stock but all the best of British with it. I'll be sure to send anyone after UK stuff your way...

You should add a Saturn section. :P
Nice site though. I'm gonna order a bunch of SMS games..

Yep, unfortunately Paypal is the payment method of choice. Until I start putting through lots of money, other CC providers over-charge you half to death. :(
Many thanks for the kind comments and wishes of luck. I've just added over 100 new items today and now my eyes are bleeding and have become pixellated ;)

I was wondering if you took special requests? I'm looking for a few common PAL games, and I'd like to get all of them at once. ;) Or if you'd keep an eye out. :)

Sure, email requests to support@comicalgames.com and I'll keep an eye out.
I'm actually about to implement an enormous, exaustive list of every game for every system I deal in. You'll be able to view this list and add your email to a notification list, so that if I get that game in stock, you'll be emailed.
In the meantime, email direct is best ;)

I'm in the states and a few PAL games catch my eye, and most of them are VERY cheap and have no region protection. So, I'll wait around and see what happens this summer when I get real serious about games again.
I appreciate it!

Hmmm, very interesting. I shall probably guy a game tommorow. What sort of packaging do they come in? If I bought a single game, would it fit through a letterbox?

Depending on the quantity of games, it would come in either a small box, but for a single game this would be wrapped in bubblewrap and then brown paper. A single game should indeed fit through all but the smallest of letterboxes.

Actually, I found it on eBay so I got it there. :(
But do not worry. I havea a shortlist of about 10 other games I want from your site, so rest assured I will be making a purchase there very soon. :)

Well, I got my games today. I figure I should probably give a little feedback for y'guys.
Since I'm in another country, I sent an email to order the games. He was prompt in responding back, and we exchanged a couple of emails to arrange the purchase. During this process he was very courteous and up-front about the details. He even went so far as to send a picture of the package before he sent it off. The whole thing went very fast -- my initial email was sent April 9, the other emails and my payment were sent April 10, and the package is postmarked April 11. The stuff was very very nicely packaged, and arrived in the exact condition described on the site. It was packed with an invoice, a business card, and a coupon for 5% off a future purchase.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I wouldn't hesistate to recommend Comical Games to anyone. Also the prices on the games were definitely reasonable. Shipping was a bit pricey to the US, but that's unavoidable -- and he undercharged me by 57p. :p

I just snagged your copy of Gauntlet IV. You've told me before that the packaging will easily fit through a letterbox, so I have no worries about it. I've already sent payment. :)

I would like to point something out.
Your 'japanese copy' of Golden Axe actually seems to have a Megadrive Golden Axe II cart. :)

Money and you having some games I want in stock permitting, I'm going to place an order, but I am broke right now.
I give you props for making it easier for us americans to get PAL Master System games easier. Thankfully just about every game I want is common enough and you have them currenly in stock.

No problem - I'm happy to weigh and price up an order for you. The only trouble is you're going to have to let me know what you want in advance so I can give you a quote.
At the moment UK postage is easy to calculate, but International postage changes every 20 grammes, and is typically expensive, so its just a case of making sure you get an accurate quote! :)
