I sold my original Sega CD long ago, and bought the newer side by side version. I'm trying to get an older style again. I paid $400 for the original that I earned washing dishes. I bought the newer one a couple years ago for $5.00. New. Amazing.
I've got the Master System, MS2, Genesis, Genesis2 (remodeled version), SegaCD side by side version, Saturn, Dreamcast, PowerConverter for the Genesis (to play MS games)... Need a Game Gear...

I have... 3 genesis, 1 gen. v.2, a v.3, a 32X, and a soon-to-be sega handheld from that v.3 :D .
What's that SG-1000 I've seen sometimes? any good?

P.S you cheater for having a sega gallery :) (j/k)
I wish they made a smaller Sega CD, to fit the model 3... so nice having such a small design.

You wouldn't be able to hook up a Sega CD to a Genesis 3 no matter what (no expansion port).

yulp, it's the chips inside that count :( . It also can't play the SMS converter and 32X, they'd have to actually make a gen. 4 to do that (with the special chip(s) :)

yup but i think a bit late the heart of the retro gamer no longer intrests developers, they dont think past they think ahead if that was so maybe you would be surprised when the genny 4 is been made anno 2006 and streets of reage 4 or a new thunder force is released with it.i think retro gamers only dream of that litterly.and it wouldnt happen i think yess it would be hell awsome iff some people still intrested in pusshing a genesis to limits it never reached and still can.

yes... I know. I'm sure if they made a smaller one, they would of placed an expansion slot there for use with it.

I just got my Sega CD last night. I got it from a friend for $10. I currently have Sonic CD (Amazing game), Vay, and Willy Beamish. I am going to buy Snatcher and Popful Mail from another friend in a couple of days. Can't wait to play Snatcher!

Segaīs first console. I once read that it was meant to be a 3D-console,haha...
But for the year 1983 it mustīve been pretty amazing.
You wonīt believe it, but I came across one on a second hand street market. It was lying in a dirty cardboard box among old toasters and stuff.
No idea if it was still working, but the guy who obviously didnīt know what it was was willing to sell it for 8,-€. Even if it was broken, that was still a good deal.
Unfortunately I only had 5,-€ with me and the man was stubborn; I did not get it. That was an incredible chance considering that I live in Germany where the damn thing had never been available.
I could still bite into my own fat ass for not even having those few bucks back then!!!
So if you ever come across some idiot willing to sell it for a pretty penny, BUY IT!!!
