Just awful. I'm a college student working there, and a friend got a job there (at another store), and I think she'll love it. Oh god don't get me started... on this and my job. If I told you half of the stuff I've seen, you'd need therapy for years.

Why am I posting this? Well, just to prove this job has driven me insane.

I can only imagine the horrors of these three "games." Still, I remember one especially cool BK promotion back in the day.. there used to be these awesome miniature robot toys called Z-Bots, and Burger King offered a brief exclusive smattering of them. Beyond that, though.. screw BK and their silly promo efforts. I'm a Dairy Queen man.

Oh dear. I know what kind of games you can get for the equivalent of '$4 a pop' in the UK. I hope they never come over here.

Hey David J, while I've got you here I'll take two chicken sandwiches (minus all plus mustard) and an ice cold Coke®. Or do you still serve Pepsi®? Not that I'd want it. Don't put too much ice in it, I hate it when you do that.

See, I'm the "nerdy" guy there, some obese bitch gives me smack about being a nerd and a homo. So if I am here while we do this promotion, oh boy I'm going to pop a bitch, because her whipped boyfriend won't do squat. That and get all of these questions about video games and some shit.

Hahahaha. Don't eat too much -- I did over the summer and I felt like the dude in Super Size Me. But that's what you get when you work there six days a week because there are only a few workers and food is expensive elsewhere so you use your discount.

The resturant I have been working at has served coke for 12 years now, but the stores in my area suck because we don't have any Mello Yello, and fifteen people a day ask if we have mountain dew.

Drixxel! YOU ARE MY HERO!

I remember playing with those Z Bots at a friend"s house ages ago, but I never could remember what the little dudes were called and it"s been driving me nuts! Thank you! =P

(Sorry for the double asterisks, but Firefox keeps on pulling up the search bar whever I try to type a single. Odd.)

Real Dairy Queens are incredibly awesome. We only have 2 or 3 of them here in Denver. We have a bunch of pansy Dairy Queens which don't do burgers and the like, only the ice cream and maybe a hot dog. DQ burgers are goooooooood.

Awesome.. glad to help! Z-Bots are great, although they're hard to come by these days. Every once in awhile I'll peruse Ebay for them, but the selection is pretty dismal most of the time, or the prices just sicken me. Luckily I amassed a sizeable collection in the early '90s, vehicles and everything.. some of the most fun toys around. I'll whip 'em out every so often and have epic duels. Oh what nostalgia..

This is the most delicious video game deal since that PC game that came in boxes of Chex cereal.

I have one that's been my car mascot for about 8 years. Great little dude.

Man I miss Mello Yellow from my days on the east coast. It doesn't exist in California :( I wish Coke would distrubute it nationally.

Well, Coke has Vault, which is a reformulated Surge, so hopefully you can give that a shot. It's not in fountains yet, but soon!

I thought it was gone in my area, so I went to the store to get some cheap soda and wouldn't ya know I saw a few fridge packs of Mello Yello, so I bought one and a six pack of vault.

I think the Mello Yello is a tad expired, but damn good.

Wow. I remember Chex Quest. That game was better than it should've been, really.

Unfortunately I don't remember Z bots, I was probably too lame to "bot".

I remember reading about someone who had a similar problem on Irregular Webforums, I'll see if I can find it.

Don't know if this happened in the US or anywhere, but over here you used to get Age of Empires when you bought Nutri-Grain.

I'd appreciate that, man.
