View Full Version : Body Count
Why do companies release peripherals, only to let them starve to death? Sega's Menacer often comes to mind whenever Genesis fans ask this very question. There were very few games for it, and one of the best was left in Europe (a rare example of PAL gamers getting a game U.S. Genesis owners didn't). Body Count was an alien-filled romp packed with great graphics and intense action, and Sega never released it stateside. We've got a full report (http://www.sega-16.com/2006/04/body-count/) on it, so lock and load soldier!

Great game, but I wish it came stateside like everyone else. If only Sega of America didn't dick around, we'd have some more solid games in the waning years of the Genesis.
Too bad the game is a R7 on Digital Presses PAL rarity guide, because if I saw a copy cheap, I'd buy it. Hmm... better bug Comicalgames! :)

I assume this is completely incompatible with NTSC systems, then, eh?

The game is country locked, meaning it will only work on a PAL system. However, I'm sure someone could make a GG/PAR code so it could work for those unwilling to mod out systems

It reaches in and grabs right hold of your heart?

How easy is it exactly to MAKE GG codes?

If you have the right tools and your mind wrapped around hex theory, and are willing to waste a lot of time fiddling around...
...it's not that hard. =P

How's the sound and music?
The music is forgettable, but the sounds are pretty cool. Lots of explosions and gunfire. Nothing too special though.

sorry i had to ask
I have no idea; I only have a Menacer.

If I could find my Justifier, I would have you send me the game so I could try and see if it works. Returning the game would be optional (for me). :) I know Corpse Killer won't work with the Justifier, only the Menacer or some other gun (American Loser Games?) that I don't have. Not even the 32X Corpse Killer is powerful enough to work with the Justifier!

Has anyone beaten this game? I can't seem to figure out the final boss (at least I think it is) with the color code and time bomb. No help from gamefaqs either.

Melf, the game was developed by Probe, not Sega... Please, fix it when you have some time.
