Even more gaming news from this week... EA announced C&C3 which is a sequel to the original sci-fi series. No more campy cold war parodies or stereotype middle-eastern terrorists. It's been a good 6 years since the last part and there's been a lot of demand for a return to the franchise's roots, complete with FMV briefings. If there's any game that made really good use of FMV, it was C&C.

I guess sales for the half-assed, buggy First Decade really convinced EA, huh?

I wonder if there is a patch that fixes everything, offical or not.

I haven't played a C&C game since the first. Since then there have been so many different ones that I'm too confused and overwhelmed to try and crack into the series.
