Just watched Advent Children

Hey all. I just got my pre-order of Advent Children. Yes, I know it doesn't come out for proper order until tuesday in the US (comes out on monday here) but me and my housemate pre-ordered it online and we got it today, which was a suprise.

I won't tell you anything about the plot, as I know some people will want to watch it. However, I will simply say that you won't be dissapointed if you do buy it and you will love every moment of it. :D

I saw it like last year... it was ok.

What about the bonus features? Are those pimp at all? That's the only reason I'd bother buying it.

They aren't too bad. You've got a huge documentry on the 'making of', the movie trailers, sneak peaks at other FFVII games coming out and the deleted scenes.

Is there anything worthwhile and lifechanging in those deleted scenes, Kikoskia?

I as well saw the movie last year, and it was.. pretty good. Wasn't too jazzed with the direction that was taken with the storyline, but the animation and action was top-drawer. If you're going to have a CG fight scene, it may as well be over the top.

Nope, nothing worthwhile from the deleted scenes. I doubt there's more then 2 minutes of total deleted scenes. Oh, and they're all in japanese.

I liked the movie when I saw it but reflecting on it now months later it really wasn't fantastic. If I was a bigger Final Fantasy fanboy maybe. The animation was great but the quality takes a dive during some of the fights.

The fact that the entire movie was basically one big commercial for that blasted cell phone didn't help either.

I have seen films that had more advertising then that game. You know the kind, the one where they can't stop saying 'Nike' for more then a few minutes. :p
