Model 3 power supply

I just purchased a Model 3 Genesis and it didn't come with it's original power supply (MK-1451 I believe). Instead it came with an aftermarket Performance power supply for a Model 2. Will this power supply fry the model 3 genesis?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The Model 3's power supply is the same as the Model 2 Genesis, and Sega 32X except the amperage is lower. I think it's 0.35 amps. So the Model 2 Genesis is more then enough to power it.

Thanks :D. I purchased it for a friend who really wanted one and didn't want to give her it with the thought of it blowing up when she plugged it in.
