Widescreen support for streaming media tags

I've noticed in recent times when I have posted YouTube and Dailymotion videos that I am getting borders on the top and bottom, adding borders to the top and bottom of the video.

Long story short, I see no reason why widescreen support couldn't be added into the players, perhaps an alternate YouTube tag for widescreen videos?

We already do have widescreen support for Youtube, probably for close to a year or something. The tag youtubews will give widescreen and youtubehd will give HD. I still have yet to see a single dailymotion video posed so I won't bother with that.

I was completely unaware about the widescreen option for YouTube videos already existing, I am sorry about that. Can I suggest making that feature more prominent?

Incidentally, I post Dailymotions regularly and will use them in preference to the YouTube videos if they produce a single part video.

There is no way to make them more prominent. I don't want the site cluttered up with buttons. However this information is listed in a sticky topic somewhere here I think.
