Only time will tell. Check out our editorial Sonic Team Loses its Leader (http://www.sega-16.com/forum/../E3%202006-%20Yuji%20Naka%20Leaves%20Sega.htm) for more news and speculation!

hmm... this has just occured to me: is prope going to make a new console :D ?
Because think about it: he wants a new start with some help, so why not create a new business? That way he could use sega's help for games, tech, etc. but use his ideas for the console.
It seems like an ok idea... though I sorta doubt it... than why would he quit his position instead of expanding the company?

With Sonic games being extremely lackluster for the past 5 or 8 years or so, this can't be seen as a bad thing. Same goes with the Phantasy Star franchise which has transformed into the weak and uninteresting online world. Good riddance and don't let the door hit yer ass on the way out.

I'm not really concerned about this either. I think it's time Sega used some fresh blood.
