Wii is going to win and etc.

Actually I'm just going to post that DSRevolution has made up a list of confirmed Wii launch titles. And they are:

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Nintendo)
Wii Sports (Nintendo)
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Retro Studios)
Red Steel (Ubisoft Paris)
Rayman Raving Rabbids (Ubisoft Paris)
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (SEGA)
Elebits (Konami)
Trauma Center: Second Opinion (Atlus Software)
Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors (Square Enix)
Madden NFL 2007 (EA Canada)
Blitz: The League (Midway Games)
Metal Slug Anthology (SNK Playmore)
Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam (Toys For Bob)
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (TBA/Raven Software)
Disney/Pixar's Cars (Rainbow Games/Kobalt)
SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab (Blitz Games)

Basically this is just a list that they compiled by tallying the games that were mentioned as targeted for launch by their developers/publishers. Still, it's the only time I've seen someone bother to make such a list.

Not too shabby, IMO. Decent spread of developers (but where's Capcom?), and multiple games I'm looking forward to. I really wish that Spongebob game didn't exist, though.

Launch?!

That's pretty impressive, rarely have any modern systems launched with more than one title that interests me, the Wii is launching with five, possibly six, games that I want. I really don't plan on getting the Wii at launch but Nintendo is making it pretty hard for me.

As for the lack of Capcom I could really care less. They've only made two games I even remotely enjoyed in the past generation (Viewtiful Joe and Resident Evil 4).

I had one of the leaked passwords for the Nintendo E3 press kit like most of the internet (rumor has it passwords were leaked intentionally on certain forums to help generate hype for the Wii) and there was a list of developers and franchises that will be showing up on the Wii and one of them was Resident Evil so Capcom will be along eventually.

There's 4 on that list that I would buy at launch, that's pretty good. The pics I've seen of the Rayman game are hideous, I'm definitely not interested as of yet in that one.

As of that list, I think I would buy: Metal Slug Anthology, Wii Sports, Red Steel, and Trauma Center for sure.

That's great, we've been forked too much in terms of launch titles the past years.

That's a good lookin' launch line-up. As always, you have the potentially awesome lined up with the guaranteed mediocre, but choice is good. I've been keeping my game-related spending to a minimum lately (in fact, virtually non-existant), but I'm extremely tempted to snap up a Wii at launch with two or three of these games. Compared to the Gamecube launch, Nintendo is in awesome shape with Wii. No Mario, perhaps, but Metroid and Zelda? That'll do just fine. I simply will need to buy Prime 3.

Prime 3 is supposed to be the final Prime game. Rumor has it Retro wanted it to be a trilogy (Hunters doesn't count because it's not by Retro).

Zelda and Prime 3 are my instant purchases, though Trauma Center should rock hard. That's a pretty darn good launch list, providing they all make it.

I just noticed Wario Ware isn't on there. Damn, I hope that makes launch.
