My HDTV has two SCART sockets; both are filled (DVD player, Sky set-top box), so they're out of the question. Looks like I need the ole RF cable to get my Mega Drive working.
Normally I'd tune a spare channel on my old 1996 CRT TV to channel 36, turn the Mega Drive on, then let the TV fine-tune to the nth degree to get an ideal image. I can't seem to do this on the newer TV - apparently it works on 'frequency', a triple-digit number.
So, how does 'channel band 36' translate to HDTV-speak?
