Ever since i got back from syberia, I've been pretty excited by the mega drive. All these years of hoping and waiting until some good 2D games are released for the NGC and PSX,...and then I suddenly realised why don't I simply buy Mega Drive games. First of all they are cheap as chips and secondly It's fun hunting on flea markets and recyclestores.

Yesterday I had some time of from studying and I planned to visit two of these recycle stores. Both of them are pretty far from my usual route and pretty apart from each other. The first thrift store is a real messy one there are no prices on things and you just have to ask the lady and she names a price at random. There are heaps of video- and audiotapes and in between those heaps of worthless crap are often games hidden. I found Superthunder blade, NBA Jam TE, Moonwalker but all the boxes were empty. The only full boxes I found where Jimmy White's cue balls and BArcelona 1992. I then asked the lady howmuch and she said three euros a pop. I decided to leave them there. Because three euros for sports games I was never going to play is a tad to high for me. :(

And hour later I arrived at the second store. Which is really neat, everything is clean and organised with prices and alarms on it. The first thing I see are three MD games: Twin hawk, Altered Beast and World Cup '90. They also cost three euro a piece. I naturally take Twin hawk and Altered Beast with me. I browse around some more and the on a stand I see a MD2 with eight games for 15 euros.
The games are: Truxton (yay!), Little mermaid, Lion King, Sonic 1, Turtles tournament fighters, Marble MAdness, Alladin (yay!) and hellfire (super yay!) . + all
wires and two like new 3 button pads (This especially is really great, because I don't have a official gamepad anymore only third party shit with bad buttons.)

I think I got the deal of the century! ten games mint MD2 + 2 pads for 21 euro!!! whohoo. And since I'm a big Shooter fan these are some great games!
I see behind the counter a box of twenty or so SMS games. I asked this lady f I could check them out but she said she still needs to check them and price them I should have just offered her twenty euros for the whole box.

anyway here is a picture of my new shit:
