It should have been, like the first game reviewed for the 32X.

If nobody has called it, I would be happy to review it!

Do it. I thought about it once but got really bored with it half-way through writing it because I couldn't think of anything to say about Doom that hasn't been said before. I have a hard time reviewing the games that everyone unanimously knows so I try to do the underdogs when I can.

If you've read my 32x topic, I said I'd review it once my 32x arrived and I had got some decent playtime on it. :) So it's just a matter of time.

Oh, then it's yours then, I just wanted to know what was going on.

It's not up because no one's reviewed it!

First come, first served!

lol...I have 3/4ths of this review on my HD that's just been sitting there. I never finished it.

I didn't think that too many people still cared that much for DOOM.
sure, it was a trend-setter. . .but that doesn't mean it has aged well (not to me at least  ).

Then by all means, finish it. As Melf said, first come first served. :)

It wasn't just a trend setter though, it totally changed the industry, and virtually wiped out 2d gaming.

Doom is a real landmark. Though in my eyes it's not as important as Wolfenstein 3D was in creating the genre, it certainly popularized it and introduced one of the most important first person shoot elements ever... the Deathmatch.

I think it's funny that so many people thought of writing a review for Doom but no one got around to it.
