The time is not done in EST, it is EDT. Most states are currently running under daylight savings time and not standard time.

The hour changed back in April, no? Puerto Rico is on Atlantic time, so we don't change, but the times fell back in sync when the U.S. sprung ahead. The time is the same as Eastern Standard now.

*Edit: I see what you mean now. It's EST when you fall back and EDT in summer. I'll just eliminate the whole time zone thing with the next update. Thanks!

I'd say eliminate the time (but certainly not the date) altogether.
