Box maintenance problem

Since a couple of years I have this annoying problem, the plastic cover from my boxes are getting all wavey and start to bubble up. Now I'm wondering what the source of this problem is. I tend to keep them far away from light, I dont smoke and temperature isnt that abnormally high in my room so ... if anyone could help me with this I would really appreciate it.

Do you live close to a sea, giant lake or ocean? Could be high humidity. What's the difference between a sea and an ocean anyway? Now I won't be able to sleep tonight!
