Here it goes, we just moved and and my wife had the day off and decided to unpack. Well I get home and notice my Genesis box empty (it had my original purchased genesis system inside) and my wife tells me that she cleaned all my systems. I notice my three genesis systems (the two others where bought in a garage sale for $2 each) on the floor clean but I was upset because I cant tell the difference between the three and I cant claim which is the original Genesis (it has huge sentimental value to me and I got it in 1991) that belonged in the box.

So, I ask you all if their is a way to tell the difference between the three like seriel numbers or anything like that?

well from what I read over at the Digital Press forums, there are two FCC ID numbers:

FJ846EUSASEGA: a system that has this ID does NOT have the copyright screen.
FJ8USASEGA: a system that has this ID DOES HAVE the copyright screen.

I'd think if you bought yours in '91 it should be the top one.

THe BOx with "High definiton graphics" is taht one, and the like. My genesis is in my basement, and I'm too lazy to see what it says. Sorry.
