Compare Genesis's

Ok Im buying a Model 3 genny off my friend and I was wondering how they compare to the others.
I know the model 1 has better audio than the model 2 and there are some other diffrences but how about the model 3 hows its audio and video are the anythings I should know
I want to do a reigon mod and the RGB out (since I use SCART)

video is good audio is okay mono, and it has no compatibility with 32x, sega cd or virtua racing. all 3s should have a sony cxa1645 for good video

Yep, all model 2s have stereo audio AFAIK.

The Genesis 3 is great for casual gaming, and it's small enough to be unplugged and transported to other places (friends' homes, hotels, etc.) with ease. I solely used a Genesis 3 to fill my gaming needs until Super Fighter Team was founded and I needed more variations of the machine to do game testing.

I think you'll get lots of enjoyment from your Genesis 3.

I think it's a good little system. Remember that it won't work with game genie, sega master system convertors, sega cd, 32x, and some genesis games. Turrican, Ex Mutants, Gargoyles, Time Killers, Virtua Racing, and I believe Mighty Max. It is a sturdy system built well. It also plays the audio/sound how it's supposed to unlike current sold clones(firecore). Just remember if you spend a lot of money on it you may not get it back in re-sell since many people don't consider the genesis 3 a true system like the model 1 and 2. Also some don't like how it has all of the incompatibilities I first mentioned.

It is easy to mod to return functions of the Game Genie and Virtua Racing. I did it to mine, but I broke it trying to figure out how to return the function of the 32X. It is possible oOx..Oo did it. I can't remember his name exactly.
