What is a Sega CD actuially worth now a days? At my local used shop, they had a GEN and SCG connected for $60. They would not disconnect them.

I paid $25 for my Sega CD 2 with the extender and AC Adaptor, and the same price for my Model 1 with just an AC adaptor.
So I would say that $20-$35 dollars is a good price.

In England, they cost a little more. I had to pay £35 for my Mega CD 1, although that came with some games AND a megadrive 2, so it might only be about £20-25 for one if you look hard enough.

which version? The model 2 is the most common, I got mine for i think $30 complete on ebay. The cdx and x'eye are much harder to find and so are more expensive.

I got mine(model 2) in a mom 'n pop store in Indianapolis for $30 too. Also mine was connected to a Sega Genesis 2, but since they knew they wouldn't sell it he disconnected it for me. Plus I'm sure you could find one in a flea market, garage sale, thrift shop for much cheaper.
