Sega-16: Year Two Retrospective

On this day two years ago, Sega-16 was unleashed on an unsuspecting populace. It's been quite a ride these last twelve months, and we've come a long way. But an event of this magnitude deserves a closer analysis, and our Year Two Retrospective (http://www.sega-16.com/forum/../Year%20Two%20Retrospective.htm) talks at length about all we've accomplished. Awesome.

I remember that day on DP when someone mentioned a new Genesis fansite. I was excited since there weren't to many such sites around, but figured this was just some young kid who'd lose intrest in a month. I tried helping him out by sending him review. When I found out this wasn't just some kid, I had a feeling that his would be succesful, and being here from the start has been awesome!

Man, am I glad I was here for at least part of that second year. Yay for Sega-16!

I heard about the site through Digital Press around the time it debuted, although for some reason, I didn't join the forums until a few months ago (better late than never though, right?). I remembered seeing a lot of great resources for the NES then, but besides SNES Central (http://snescentral.edgeemu.com/) representing the SNES, there was nearly nothing for the 16-bit consoles. I was glad to see something come in and fill the Genesis void (I knew of the Genesis Collective, but it really didn't do the trick for me). And not only has it filled the Genesis void, but it's better than most of those NES sites!

Here's to many more years!
