Either official or fan-art?

Official art goes way beyond print ads. I think I still have the 60-70 Sonic wallpapers done by Sega in the 90's around somewhere. It's not like I have something unique as any dedicated Sonic sites would have them too. My point is wallpapers, scans of box covers/manuals and even screen grabs should be featured here in some fashion.

Furthermore, every large forum community usually has a bunch of artists, who have enthusiastically drawn all things Sega through the years and would only be too happy to show it all off. Even without such legions of artists, it's fairly easy to build up a collection of Sega-related art made by fans through google searches and links to key sites.

Just asking.

Yay, my first post/topic done!

Welcome!

We have room for fan art and bos scans, as they can be easily added to the media section. We don't have anything up because no one has really ever donated anything more than ad scans. Once we have enough for a gallery though, we will definitely add them in.

One of the big things about Sega-16 is community involvement. Our readers can contribute articles and reviews, ad scans and video commercials, and even fan fiction. I'd love to include fan art as well.

BTW:This goes in the site/forum feedback forum. :)

So what exactly is missing the most? Official art or fan art?

I knew I had the Sonic stuff, all of it 16-bit related. Most of it official and a couple fan-art files (easily recognizable). But aside from that, all the stuff I have dates back to 32-bit and more recent. Get the zip file at this yousendit.com link:

I also like to do fan-art myself, but unfortunately, most of it deals with 32-bit and beyond. However, I did do this pic recently. It's for a SOR reprogramming project on DC and PC, but technically, it is true to the 16-bit ressource material:

hopw this helps!
