Dead Cart?

Ok,

I have a Genesis III. I'm trying to play the Japanese version of Afterburner II on it. It starts with the "produced by or under license from Sega" screen, then makes a kind of pop noise and then won't load the blue Sega, flash screen or the game. My only other JPN megadrive game plays perfectly on this thing. Anybody have an idea?

Could AB II be one of the games not compatible with the Gen 3?

Seriously, we need a FAQ on this little guy, complete with what can be used on it and what can't.

I don't see any reason it could be incompatible.

Try the cart on another system.
