And one game was released for the Genesis (ported or what have you) what would it be?

I myself have to think about this one.... =)

Probably some Chinese game, maybe done by the Super Fighter Team. There isn't anything else coming out! But I don't think anything will be ready by tomorrow. I'll wake up anyway, though.

Those games won't be released tomorrow. The good news, however, is that all of those games have already been released and can be obtained now! No need to wait until tomorrow! And the Turbo can do Dracula X much better than the Genesis (which would destroy the music and the color). He didn't mention Sega CD.

I'd love to play some Castlevania all Genesis'd up.

Something crazy like Earthbound. Maybe a little 2D Katamari action. The Genesis needs more absurdity.

Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder or Spider-Man: The Video Game, both for the Sega CD/32X.

Wishful thinking. :(

IŽd love to see Star Ocean or Final Fantasy VI on Genesis.

For Chinese games, IŽd say Tiger Hunter Hero Novel. IŽve played i for some hours, but from a certain point on there was a major bug and the game became unplayable.
But none of these games are ever gonna see the light of day for the Genesis...

Gradius 3

That's a primo pick.. I was thinking this one myself. A slowdown/flicker-free Gradius 3 home edition would be righteous, even if the soundtrack and colour took a hit.

A remake of Phantasy Star III. Some guys were working on it. I don't know if it was finished, but they'd only do a ROM ofcourse.

With the right composer the MD is more than capable of doing the soundtrack justice.

Outrun for the 32X -- it'd go nice with After Burner and Space Harrier.

Out Run for 32x would've been a fine version, but really, how many versions of Out Run do you need? It's not like there isn't a good version in existence.

Dear god yes. That would rock my face off.

While we're at it, how about all the Game Gear Shining Forces? (Yes, I do realize that two of them came out on Shining Force CD, but we still don't have Final Conflict, do we?)

Actually there's been a patch for the original Japanese ROM for FC at Shining Force Central. You should pick it up.

Anyway for me probably Shining Forever: The Forgotten Deity.

A proper Sonic fully utilizing the 32X would have been interesting.

Hahaha.... yeah, yeah, me too... I just hate how a fully powered-up ship with no enemies on screen still makes the game stutter, not to mention the abundance of tragic sprite flicker. The Genesis could solve that proper, it could.

We call it Castlevania Bloodlines. :p

Castlevania: The New (Next?) Generation from where I stand, pal. :P

That said, a proper port of Turbo OutRun would be fun, either as a 32X (or most likely a Saturn) title. The game itself isn't that dreadful, all the home ports of the time were though. :(

I love how OutRun 2006: C2C has the original Turbo OutRun BGM and remixed BGM selectable. That was a nice touch; Keep Your Heart and Shake the Street all sound fantastic Latino-style.

edit: As long as we're counting 'I wish x was ported to y' moments, I'd love to see a Dreamcast homebrew version of Cave Story. That'd be

It would be fun to see darkstalkers on the genesis or better yet 32X. Sure it wouldn't like 1/4 as nice as a saturn version but you know...

Dracula X Rondo of Blood

Hey, I can dream, can't I?

You took mine!

Alright, then I'll go with...Doom. I think the Genny could've done it justice, and maybe if they took more time than with the 32X version it'd be absolutely righteous.

How about Grand Theft Auto?
It had quite simplistic graphics on the PlayStation 1. Besides the polygonal houses it looks a bit like Micromachines, so if they used bitmap-graphics it could be done. The 68 000 should be able to handle the cars and people as well.
Maybe they would have to cut the city into smaller parts, but I bet It would have been a nice Genny-game...

A remade monster world 4 for the west, where you could play as the girl or the original hero and the level design wasn't as linear.

While we're on that subject, the PS1 ports of GTA1 and 2 were absolutely hideous. Hell, the DC version of GTA2 could barely do it justice.

Well there was a GBC port of GTA1, so yes, it could've been done on Genesis. Although I don't see why that would be terribly interesting.

Well, maybe because GTA is one of the most popular series around?

The pics were a bit small...is this an NES, SNES or Gameboy homebrew?

yeah it certainly would look as worse as the one on gbc,we know what redzone mickey mania could pull in rotation and bitmapping/texture mapping sega genesis could handle it only much memory may be included then but genesis can handle it with nice graphics im sure it also can use a little shadow highlight to increase colours, this was the idea that boggled trought my mind also genius idea ill say.I would be awesome and coupe the creme pimping girls on street and showing em the Big ben etc you know what i mean in england ;).

Data East's The Real Ghostbusters, now that I think about. There were only three good Ghostbusters games ever made, and that's the only one not on a home console. I imagine licencing came into it, which is a shame.

oh, and Konami's The Simpsons. Barring Bart vs. the World, I'd give all the Acclaim games back just to have that for the Genny.

I'll go for a ThunderCats game of some sort. Preferably not a conversion of the C64 game (which I do like btw) but a brand new game.
