Try looking for a GameStation - they hold Mega Drive stuff as part of their 'retro' range. They tend to overprice on stuff, though, and you can't tell whether games have their manuals or not unless/until you purchase the damned thing.

I know of an independant game store in london that has a downstairs dedicated to retro stuff. They have things like mega cd, 32x games etc.

Gamestation. They stock a lot of old games, although my local Gamestation has nothing anymore barring sports games and £30 copies of Phantasy Star II and Shining in the Darkness. -_-

I cannot speak for Cambridge/London but I have found Ebay to be the best place to get Mega Drive games, however, quite a few second hand computer game shops have retro sections. Occasionally charity shops can throw up a Mega Drive game and there's also car boot sales and markets.

Wow. I paid like $9.95 for a PAL copy of Phantasy Star 2... loose however and a former rental yet is so mint you'd die.
