So, the title explains it all. What kind of machines are you guys running?

Self-built PC, "Winterfell"
-Can't remember the motherboard make and model
-AMD Athlon 64 3000+ @ 2.0GHz
-1 gig Corsair DDR 400 RAM
-XFX nVidia 6200 w/ 512 MB DDR2 RAM
-2 hard drives with space adding up to 320 gigs
-generic CD-RW and DVD+/-RW drives
-dual boot Windows XP Home (for gaming and gaming only) and Ubuntu Linux 6.06

iMac G5, "Gondolin"
-2.0GHz G5 processor
-512 RAM
-ATI Radeon 9600 w/ 128 MB video RAM
-Mac OS 10.4.7
-160 gig hard drive
-DVD+/-RW
-Built-in speakers and monitor

I also have a laptop on the way on which I just blew the last of my savings account. I'll post its specs some other time.

Self built PC

-AMD 1.4 Ghz chip, or something like that.
-512 MB of RAM, I think.
-Graphics card: ATI something or other. I really don't remember.
-2 hard drives, One of them quite large. Don't rememeber how big.
-CD-R and DVD-RAM drives.
-I really don't care about the PC, Windows is pretty much useless to me.

Mac:
-Dual 1 Ghz G4 Tower
-1 GB of RAM
-Graphics card: Who cares?
-OS 10.3.9
-120 GB, 80 GB, 120 GB and 200 GB hard drives... all internal.
-DVD-R writer, DVD +/- dual layer writer, both internal.
-Built in speaker, but it sucks so I turn it off and use my floor standing speakers hooked up to a 100w receiver instead.
-Tons of useful software installed (bought and paid for), like Final Cut Pro, etc etc etc.

Laptop:
-None. I hate laptops.

vyse why a 6200 on your main rig? the 512 of ram will never be utilized and is just a marketing gimmick like ati did with their 9600 line.

Yeah, but I really just wanted something to hold me over until I could afford to build a new PC. Or, at the very least, just a new motherboard with PCIe slots. And video cards to go in those slots.

Besides, it runs Oblivion; I'm happy.

AMD Athlon 2400+ (I think) @ 2,0 Ghz
512 MB DDR RAM
Geforce 4 ti with AGP (was good about 173 years ago, now sucks!)
Some Pioneer DVD/CD drive (and it sucks!)
Water cooling system (sucks too!)
HDD : 140 GB

It does not run Oblivion, so it kinda sucks!
It does not run the SSF Saturn emulator, so it kinda sucks!
It does run PSX-games, and that does not suck.
Same goes for N64-games.
And it can even manage Mega Drive-games!

I am transferring to Kean University in the fall and fell into this free laptop:

-HP Intel PIII 650mHz
-512MB RAM (recently upgraded from 128)
-20 GB Harddrive
-Windows 2000 (Not really a big fan of XP)
-HP CD drive

Thinking of purchasing an external DVDR, since they're cheaper than the internal ones for my model (Omnibook 6000)
