Game Genie Codes: Should we have them?

I'm looking around a few sites, and see that no one place has all the codes available. It's still necessary to go to multiple sources to find the codes you need. This got me thinking that perhaps we should have a GG code library, bringing all available codes together in a single source. We already have a few members here who know how to hack their own codes, and this would go well with the "Code of the Week" thing I suggested in the Batman Returns thread.

Believe it or not, I never owned a Game Genie, but just bought one on ebay, so I really like the idea of having one place I could go to get codes. So, this idea has my vote.

Hi All,

Not sure if I'm posting in the correct area. New to this. I had a question about a game called dinosaurs for hire. I was looking for both 1 & 2 player game genie codes but could only find 1 player game genie codes. I see there was 1 & 2 player megadrive type of game codes for infinite lives & health but don't see that for the USA version. Thanks for any help. Not all game genie website are created equal. I have found bits and pieces of game codes all over the place. I've tried GSCentral but nothing comes up.

Please Please do this! I'm having a heck of a time finding the codes I need. Pro Action replay codes also would be great. There are so many new codes coming out from people doing them themselves that it would be very handy! The sonic and knuckles codes are awesome!! I really need the region code for doreamon and the pal version of zool, brutal delux speedball pal version, that sumo game from japan, etc!! I know I should mod my system but I have no technical experience with such things. Ive looked at guides but it still looks hard.

There have been tons upon tons of codes that have been added at GHISI or whatever the hell it is. But they still don't have the ones that came in the book with the Game Genie itself (I think those are at www.gamegenie.com).

I think such a section would be nice; but please, don´t forget Action Replay; it was the better Game Genie.

The GSHI has a lot of gg and par codes and also the ones in the official game genie book by galoob. These last ones in the "official cheat device codes" section. GSCentral is not updated since 1 year and a half, plus the main four new gg coders are in the gshi. I'm one of them.

Why would it be a game genie codes thing? What about action replay ? I don't even see how you can find a game genie as the cartridge doesn't have a codefinder, whereas the Pro 2 has it all.
