X-perts was long announced and regarded as the potential answer to Donkey Kong Countrey. Well, by the time development was finally finished Sega had abandoned the Mega Drive in Europe, so it never reached our shores.
I got a glimpse of it some time ago, and my question is: Is this game as horrible as it seemed or have I missed something???

All I know, in the states it was released with limited, to no fan-fare and is pretty uncommon. Everyone who has played it, including me doesn't think too highly of it.
IMO, It looks awful and plays really, really awkward. I think the the US cart will run on PAL consoles, so if you really must know, go buy it on eBay -- it shouldn't be that expensive, even though it is uncommon.

I emulated it a while back to see what all the fuss was about. Yeah, it was pretty bad. Not worth the time it took to download, actually. And I'm on broadband!

Damn, that's pretty bad.
Never heard of it, myself. Hm...something just tells me I blasphemed.

Well, X-perts was meant to be the next big thing on the Genesis, with pre-rendered graphics like in Donkey Kong Country. But from what Iīve seen, itīs rather disapointing...
