Stereo AV Cables?

I could really use a *stereo* av cable for the genesis 2.
I'd make my own cable... but I've never soldered anything, nor do I own any soldering equipment;) . So not exactly a cost-effective solution.

Thing is the guy at the used game store tried to convince me that stereo av cables don't exist for the genesis, or as he said it - "i've never seen them with the three cables, red, yellow and white - just 2, yellow and white, or well if they do exist sega didn't make them." I didn't bother trying to convince him otherwise, let alone explain what each color does. My hick-town drives me crazy...:daze:

Try eBay. They have tons.

Look at all of these cables (http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=genesis+stereo+cable).

Yes, they will work even if they say 32X because it has the same output jack as the Genesis 2 and 3.

Reason I was asking here first is that I felt those prices were a bit high for my initial expectations and I thought a fellow sega fan might have an extra cable lying around and have it in their heart to cut me a deal.

Shipping on those ebay auctions is ridiculous. Shipping for cables at monoprice is like $2.

EDIT: If I do cave and get the cables on ebay, I just might pay the extra $1 for the box to prove that Sega did make stereo av cables to the guy at the used video game store, lol. :)

I wish ebay would do something about that. I mean they are loosing money on it. I ended up paying $7.95 to have a dreamcast s-video shipped to canada. It prob cost them around $2. Mind you I picked it up for 55cents plus shipping.
