$20 seems high, especially without any hookups.

Agreed. If you're going to pay $20, you should have everything thats needed to use it.

A universal AC adaptor can cost just as much as this Sega CD. So, if you go that route, you'll be out of $40. $20 for the Sega CD and $20 for the AC adaptor :(

I paid $10CAD for a model 2 genesis, and model 2 cd, and recently sold it on ebay for $35US plus shipping.

I'm noticing that's the norm on there, pricing for more than what you'd pay elsewhere. Seems impossible to just get a working CD unit and all the proper cables without adding on a genesis and tons of other crap I don't need... Pray for me at the garage sales tomorrow ;)

I got Model 1 and Model 2 systems for $20-25 a piece with the proper hookups. It can happen, it can take a while, or in my case.... years.

keep shopping and be patient. you'll find the deal if you're willing to wait
