I tried setting up mt Genesis 2 system in my cabin, and it wont work. When I turn it on I see white lines and lots of static. It worked just fine at my house, and I know that everything is set up correctly (I am using an RF switch). What should I do? Is there anything I can do to make it work again?
Sorry if I didn't make sense, I find it a bit hard to describe things sometimes. :daze:

Alot of times, depending on the television, it will have to be on a certain channel while using an RF adapter. Try tuning the tv to channel 2, 3, or 4 and see if it comes it. As always, give the genesis and game itself a good blow :D and see if that works. Also if this is a newer television and happens to have a tv/video button on it, or a corresponding remote with a tv/video button, press it while the tv is tuned to channel 2, 3, and 4. Chances are that these ajustments should have you collecting rings in no time.
Also, is this a Genesis 1 or 2? If 2, I strongly suggest getting the A/V outputs, as the RF adaptor is really a pain and overall just not as good.

Try the channel thing and if that doesn't work, get out some qtips and some rubbing alcohol. Clean the cart contacts and wait for them to dry and then try the game again.

It's a 2, and I tried putting on channel 3 and 4, I havn't tried 2 yet, mabye that will work. It's on an older tv, so it's got to be a problem with my Genesis outputs. I guess I'll have to order AV outputs.
