Does that word send chills down your spine? I always have to play a little Ranger-X after getting owned mercilessly in Target Earth, just to reassure myself that it's the game, not my skills. :p

It's your skillz. It takes awhile, but Target Earth is quite playable. I've made it up to the last round after only owning it for a little over a month when it first came out about 90 years ago. The problem is that if you don't have the game memorized and haven't played it for awhile, you will get PWND!

Yeah, Target Earth may quite possibly be the toughest Genesis game ever devised. I think I was able to get up to the 4th level or so... i may have to play through it again to refresh my memory.
