Getting one of these to work great is a pain anyway... :(

The Tototek ones are a lot easier and reliabile.

Leaky batteries, dodgy third-party-Hong Kong workmanship - not really worth it. Would have been worth it in 1990, but not in the days of Tototek flashcarts and the upcoming Megacart.
