Good floor speakers?

I'm looking for some good floor speakers, and if I plugged them out via the headphone jack on my TV would that effect sound quality? Anyone know of any?

I'm not looking for like a home theater setup or anything, just some nice floor speakers I can hookup to my TV.

Floor speakers usually require a separate amplifier or receiver... they don't plug right in to the headphone jack of anything. I've got nothing but "floor speakers"... 7 of them not counting the subwoofer for my home theater setup (which my 16-bit games are not connected to).

I'll just buy some mini speakers with RCA hookups then for my Sega CD. :D
