In my never ending quest for the perfect Genesis avatar, I keep using my feeble skills to make new ones, each hopefully less crappy than the last.

My latest one is pretty straight forward.

I've made all of my Avatars. I don't usually draw the pictures in them, instead I find a pic that I like and edit it.
I got tired of my Chakan Avatar, so now I have a Gunstar Heroes one.

Mine took a ton of work. Lots of editing and cropping, repalletizing, modification...

Heh, no skills here. I just resized a Layer Section image in MSpaint. I'll probably make something better when I'm feeling more creative.

Mine's from a screenshot I took of Vectorman in Kega, touched up a bit. It was hard to snap a screen with Vectorman in mid-stride and nothing obscuring the view.

I've made all my avatars too... nothing to spectacular. But descent enoug I guess. Usuallly they are hand drawings and photographs that I've done in the past and photochop them together.

God, sorry, it may seem I'm posting a lot tonight. The thing is I'm at work and REALLY bored right now.

For being a SEGA geek, worshipping it for 14 years now and being part of SX for 4 years. I've never had a freakin' SEGA avatar. Maybe I should make one.

If you have an image (tasteful, of course) 160 wide by 100 high or less, you can upload it in your profile. You can also link to one off-site. If not, head into your userCP and click "show gallery" at the bottom and choose one of our many avatars available. :)

I've been meaning to make one since I joined, but I really liked the running Sonic I saw in the gallery. Can't ever go wrong with the Blue Blur. I'll keep it for awhile then cook up something on my own.

I found the Ghoulies VHS cover to be somewhat lame, so I changed it to Megarace's Lance Boyle (Or as I like to call him "The Newsan Guy"). I used to own the computer version, but it broke and now I want the Sega CD version of Megarace, so I can enjoy hearing the antics of Boyle again. "Welcome to Newsan"

Here we go! The avatar is the Japanese Shining Force cover, and the signature is various RPG character mugshots.

My avatar was made using a Rocket Knight Adventures sprite sheet, a free trial gif editor and a lot of cutting and pasting. And it looks terrible. :p

Robotron... if you don't mind me asking, why is your Genesis flipped?
They probably had an image of it angled the other direction and wanted it to be going from the upper left to lower right... so they used the mirror tool to do it. My guess anyways.

My Avatar is simple... I drew the face and added in my nickname in the upper right corner and the name of the website I hang out at a lot in the lower right (SegaXtreme.net). That is all. Dyldo is my nick.

Um... I use these throughout various blogs/forums/groups/etc. on the net.

The smily was a result of goofing off in Illustrator...
The Spider was an attempt at crating a fairy with a spider motif, for a friend's birthday card
The orange... thing... is the result of reading an online tutorial and entirely too much caffine.
And last but not least, the guy in the red t-shirt drawing himself is my attempt at drawing myself XD

...the lady with the shotgun, which you see all the way to your left was taken and modified from a page featuring animated gifs of Eternal Champion's Sudden Deaths, Overkills, Vendettas & Cinekill...
