Ugh. Chatboxes.
I honestly don't think we need one. If there's something you want to ask, you can PM someone in the know or make a thread about it. And if urgent timeliness is needed, you're better off just hitting up Google yourself than waiting to see if someone replies in a chatbox or thread. This isn't a huge community, and open questions in a chatbox won't be answered any faster than if they'd been asked on the forums as a result. Hell, some people will probably block the damn thing once it starts turning into a "hey guys! s'up?" echo chamber, and the inevitable "I'm doing _______ now" notices crop up on an hourly basis.
I guess what I'm saying is, do we really need another spot to have a conversation? Isn't that what the forums are for in the first place?

Personally I love chta boxes on forums, help you get to know the other members.
Want to chat ? add me on some IM protocol, and if you do it over ICQ then have a good authorization request otherwise I'll mistake you as a pr0nbot and deny your request...

LOL! Did the PCENGINEFX chatbox put a bad taste in your mouth Joe?
I personally like chat boxes. We should have one.

Chat boxes are rather redundant on a forum.
