Metal Slug Rampage

Anyone played this? It's a nifty little Flash-based fan job of Metal Slug. (Play it here (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view.php?id=79706).) It's got three installments, and number three lets Marco be on foot, which was always the most fun part of Metal Slug for me.

I think it's a pretty neat effort. Anyone?

EDIT: Scratch that, just found this much superior rendition (http://www.mofunzone.com/online_games/metal_slug_flash.shtml). *Sigh*...it's hard not having a home copy of your favorite game of all time.

Far from it! Gunstar Heroes is all about mass and volume. Tons of ammo, tons of enemies, tons of explosions, blast-it-shoot-it DESTROY!!! Metal Slug is slower, fewer enemies, and limits you in a lot of ways. It also is generally a 1-hit kill game. And you can get in vehicles. So it's much more of a 'sweaty palms' game because every enemy can kill you. Slug is about progressing flawlessly, taking down enemies with limited ammo, and staying alive. GH is about killing everything and taking hits if it means squeaking through to the end.

That's the way I see it, anyway. And just for the record, although GH is a fine game I love Metal Slug far, far more.
