I've been wondering if anyone knows about an online, or offline, retailer that sells stock/blank Genny cases, i.e. without an insert? Since I've added roughly 60 loose carts in the past month to my collection having them in clam shells with printed inserts would be nice. Anybody?
I wish I knew. I'd like to replace a few of mine. What many people seem to do is buy cheap sports games and use those shells.

I believe also that Sega Master System game cases are the same as Genesis ones.
www.collectorscardsandgames.com
sells them at about 1 or 2 each.

He has a lot of good stuff at some decent prices. Anyone ever order from him?

I've purchased some hardware from him as well as aome manuals that I was missing.
I buy from this guy a lot. Some of the wholesale stuff I get is from him. I bought my 32x my first segacd, and a whole load of the games I own from hm.
I definately don't want to push the competition, but I have to be honest, this guy's pretty good.
I might email him about some manuals I need.

He sells manuals and what not? I wonder he has those saturn cases and manuals I lack. I wanna get my games complete, and this would help if he did. Maybe I'll give him a call sometime. I gots me unlimited long-distance, and if he's a nice guy...

Does anyone Remeber that "offical" Sega shop that sold saturns and stuff? It was expensive but i lost the link... might have went offline now. I remeber ordering a Cord 4 saturn when 1-800-USA-SEGA was still in service.

1-800-USA-SEGA is still a valid number for Sega of America. Call it and start pressing buttons! Probably nothing of use there any more. I first learned that the Mega Drive would be called "Genesis" by talking to some whorebitch at that number. :)

Wow When did you call it? I only called alot to see when games came out in the pre-recording, in the Dreamcast days when i didn't have internet. (there was like 3 months i didn't have internet)

Sega-parts.com? They're still around.

I called 1-800-USA-SEGA quite often in the Master System days, just dying for any new news. I'd talk to a counseler and ask tons and tons of questions. Average phone call length was at least a half an hour for me. One time a counseler starting getting personal, asking me how old I was and whatnot. When I said I was 16, she replied that I sounded a lot older and sounded a bit disappointed.

When switching great game's ugly box with bad game's fine box, how do you make the insert and plastic fit properly? Glue? :daze:

You just line it up. There shouldn't be any difference as to how it fits. Just make sure it isn't crooked and you'll be fine. If you need more assistance than that, align the spine and the insert's spine when the box is fully open. Press and hold down on the spin at the top and the bottom with your thumb so the insert doesn't move. Close the box. The end.
Edit: Are you talking about removing the plastic? There is no need to do that.

Well, I was over at my friend who showed me how it worked, and the plastic of that box seemed more loose than they should be, so it made me think you need to re-attach it somehow. But now I saw on my own boxes that I just have to do as you explained, so everything is fine, thank you.
