How can a Sega Saturn run modern PC games?

So I was browsing this website today and randomly found 'the top 20 list of The Most Awesome Console Mods', so I decided to go ahead and see if anything would interest me, and to my excitement it included a modded Sega Saturn :):p:lawl:

As you read the list, heading to entry 14 shows us a real Sega Saturn with original casing that runs modern Windows Vista games, I'm not kidding here :p This means you could enjoy PC Ports of current generation PS3/360 games on the Sega Saturn!

Now I think I'm seriously going to finally purchase a Sega Saturn. after all the years of deciding whether or not it's worth it, this is my golden nugget.

I can't imagine how amazing it would be emulating PS2 using pcsx2 for Windows Vista.... ..... It's unimaginable :love:

Technically it's a PC mod, but it's still pretty cool it was done.


Unfortunately, not all consoles have been modded in a good way. Someone thought that it would be a good idea to take a Wii and replace all of the components with those of a Nintendo 64.

That's from another part of the site. BOO! I liek it. Dead Wii's are not worth fixing, and if a person has a beater but works but ugly N64 this is nice. And the site kept crashing on me, I had to open iot like 6 times before I could look at any of them.

Can you even read dvd's in it?

I want to play ps2 games in the drive!
I want to play ps1 games in the drive!

This means I can play Sony Playstation on this Sega Saturn! clearly theres emu's for vista!
