Call me crazy, but I find myself playing this game time and time again, more than any other Genesis/32x title I own. When compared to the arcade version its not quite as fulfilling, but you can't argue with the gameplay.
What's your take on this? Great or uninspired?

I think it's great, but it sucks that there aren't a whole lot of copies out there.

I play the real thing. I bought it complete at a thrift store for $1 (it was normally $2 but they were having a 50% off sale). I am 1337.

It's alright. I'm mostly a Shun player so it's hard for me to go back to VF1.

I'm dreadful at beat-em-ups, but the game is pretty impressive both technically and considering it's the first 3D beat-em-up of its kind on a home console.

I guess I'm 1337, too - I own a hard copy as well.

If by 'beat-em-up' you mean a versus fighter, then I stink at them, too. But VF doesn't emphasize those crazy unofficial combos and hard special moves like SFII does, so I (think) I've gotten pretty good at it. VF is more about tactics and mobility.
