Two-player games are always fun, especially if they're simultaneous. Data East's Dashin' Desperados is a entertaining little romp that has players take control of two love-stricken cowboys out to win the girl of their dreams. The problem is, they both love the same girl! Read our full review (http://www.sega-16.com/2006/10/dashin-desperados/) for all the amorous details!

I remember when I was a kid my bestest friend in the universe (who we'll call Vince because that's his name) and I would get in extraordinarily heated contests during this game; it's a miracle we still speak to each other.

Why can't multiplayer games be like this anymore? I'd love a Dashin' Desperados type of game on Xbox Live.

I too have great 2 player memories with this game! It lead me to buy Spin Master for my AES thinking I would be more of the same, but it turn out being more Caveman Ninja-like (which ain't a bad thing).

Yeah, Spin Masters is a good enough game, but I think the only real "classic" Neo Geo platformer is Magician Lord. Spin Masters is something I always looked to get for MVS but would always find something more worthy to purchase instead. Still a fun game but not something repeatedly enjoyable (like Metal Slug X, at least for me).
