Every game system has there own fan sites and only for that game system. If we let one other system in we have to let all the others in, Sega or not related. Thus, killing the purpose of only discussing the Sega Mega Drive in its own fan web site and Sega-16.com
So, you can either go to "Insertion Coin" or these instead.

My first reaction was to say 'bugger off', but then I realized I somewhat agree with you. Most consoles get discussions dedicated to them anyways, but the forum makes a conscious effort to not prioritize it. Works for me.

SMSPower.org is my Master System site of choice. (No slight on SMS Tributes, which I've never visited AFAIK.)

Melf has said before that once we've reviewed every single Genesis, Sega CD and 32X game, as well as try to provide coverage for every other aspect of Sega's 16-bit hardware the best we can, then he'd consider adding other systems, like the Game Gear and/or Master System. Personally, since he's allowed Genesis ports to other systems to receive a review, under the banner "Hands-On", I'm thinking there's a very slim chance he'd give support for one of those platforms. It would be silly to convert all of those Hands-On features to regular reviews...

Melf has said he wants to do other system reviews in the past, but it was always a coding issue. I used to be all for reviews for games for other systems, but I will say I love how Sega-16 is set up and totally dedicated to all things Genesis.
Maybe one day I'll start up a sister site or something and call it Sega-32...all about the Saturn. Sucks that the Saturn, Game Gear, and Master System don't have respective Sega-16 counterparts. Hell, there really isn't a Sega-16 for any other system, and that's a real shame!

You want to moderate two forums that badly?
I think it'd be an excellent idea, especially to try out some suggestions that tradition has dismissed for Sega-16. If really begun as an annexe with definite games and aspects (such as the Features cover) set beforehand, rather than attempting to wing it or grow it organically, there's no reason it should become a headache. It ought to be as simple as the creation of Melf's youtube room.
@ others = no, the UK site isn't a sister to this one despite a (once) prominent member being common to both.
back to Baloo = in the meantime how about the creation of a new forum (not just a thread) for all things Saturn right here?
