Does anyone have this game? I can't seem to get the hang of it. It seems like I'm supposed to get into a door on the first level but I'm not sure how. Does anyone know where I can find a FAQ for this game? I haven't had much luck at all. Thanks :)

A couple of guys on here think this game sucks so I'm wondering if not being able to get past this first level is a sign that maybe I shouldn't go on... LOL

You need to destroy all the ammo crates before you can go through the door.

I know, it used to piss me off too. I eventually just started blowing shit up and got it to work.

The right solution for any problem, blow it up.

Isn't that Sylvester Stallone's life motto? But yeah, Judge Dredd is bad news. I'd unload it on the first newbie I met and save myself a lot of grief.

For a proper Judge Dredd experience get the game for PC/GCN/Xbox/PS2. Based on the comic, rather than the ill-fated movie.

I didn't think the Judge Dredd game was all that bad. Pretty unremarkable if not for the licence, but I still played it.

I don't have the ability to handle the newer game systems controllers very well, so I don't think I'll check out any of the new games for Judge Dredd. It's kinda weird too because I'm pretty comfortable with multiple key commands on a keyboard for a PC game (CIP: Freelancer / Freespace). There's just something with these bulky new controllers that I can't handle and then my hands start to hurt after about 10 minutes :(

Any of you guys feel this way too? Damn I just went off topic :P

i remember getting this game for Christmas when it first came out.95 i think? (was a huge judge Dredd/2000ad fan) i loved it to bits. played through it a couple of times.

its not all based on the movie. the judge dredd in game model himself is from the comic. as are a lot of the references on the walls like *chopper* etc (god, must, be,less, geeky! lol)
nice little detailed character animations. gameplay is decent enough. if you're finding the first level hard just wait till you get to some of the later ones :P

just after checking the booklet, to my amazement found all the codes i'd taken down when i finished levels.

if you still cant get passed level one, the password is

I've always wondered, how does Judge Dredd on Genesis compare to Judge Dredd on Playstation? Were they completely separate games, or what?

Aside from one being an action platformer and the other being a lightgun shooter?

Not really. I'm pretty comfortable with most of the newer controllers (not that crazy about the GameCube controller though).
The other day my thumb actually had a bruise on it though. But then again, the day before I played 8 hours of "God Of War" on my PS2 :daze:
