hi there does anybody have the cover for this game?
i saw it in a shop today cart only for $29 Australian and was wondering if its worth getting ?
Id rather complete titles.

It's OK. Not fantastic but not super horrible. Difficulty level is perma-stuck on super hard.

I think this game is great. A must buy. Buy you HAVE to have a 60 Hz modified PAL machine (or 50 Hz modified Genesis), or everything will be slower than.. hmm.. on NES? Yes, at least the music will be slower than on NES. So start the game, then turn to 60 Hz to get to normal speed and avoid the lock out message. Same goes for PAL Phantasy Star IV.

I have the Japanese version and it runs fine on my Genesis (through the Game Genie). What is weird though is that it seems to have a weird control scheme where you must hold the direction for a bit before he starts to run in that direction, otherwise he just "taps" forward a pixel or two. All I know is that it is not as responsive as the original NES versions.

The "tapping" is for cliffs and edges, to maximize your chances to reach the other side when jumping. The exact same thing is needed on the seventh level of Revenge of Shinobi where you must make a GIANT jump to a wharf. One pixel wrong leads to your instant death. If you have the double-jump (makes it slightly easier) you must also throw your mighty shurikens to avoid the ninja jumping up from the water throwing stars at you. Or you can safe land with the lightning shield and kill him after that.

Back to topic. The PAL version is a lousy conversion from 60 to 50 Hz, therefor the slowness. Sonic 1 is another example of this.
