The legendary composer for films such as Conan, Robocop, and Starship Troopers has passed on. It's a sad day for soundtrack lovers everywhere.

Damn, that's a shame. His Conan score was brilliant, and Robocop's theme is still one of my favorites.

That is a sad thing. He was an underrated composer and people should take note of his work.

It's a tribute to his skill that you keep on getting fantasy moives and games with Conan-style music in them.

I was playing Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal today and the title theme is more or less modeled straight from Anvil of Crom.

...so were the BGM track for the Uruk-Hai in the LOtR movies, and the opening music for Dungeon Explorer for the SEGA CD.

Anvil of Crom, Riddle of Steel and Robocop's theme (the name escapes me at the moment) are among my all-time favorites.

I mourn the loss of a great composer. Riders of Doom being my all time favorite from the Conan soundtrack.
