Get a Hori "Analog Sindou pad" aka the "Anasin" pad,

or you cab try something from Logitech but I don't know if the "Master System style" directional pad will fit your needs since Logitech keep insisting on that design even on their latest PC and PS3 pads.

That Hori pad looks nice! Does the D-pad/Analog sticks feel nice? It looks like an SNES-style d-pad and Saturn-style analog sticks.

The D-PAd and analog sticks are ok, but the action buttons feel a bit more flimsier compared to the retail PS2 controllers.

combo, I highly recommend the hori fighting commader 2way controller if you dont mind the lack of analog sticks. its like a cross between a snes controller and a sega 6 button controller. the dpad is pretty good and the buttons are nice and responsive. if you live in the uk theres one on amazon for 9 pounds: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hori-Fighting-Commander-2Way-Controller/dp/B0042KY3SY

if the 2way controller isn't to your liking I also recommend the hori fighting commander 10b controller, the dpad is pretty good but not as good as the 2way but its a huge step above the dpad on the sony brand playstation controllers. the buttons work fine plus there is turbo for each individual button if you need turbo for certain games. i'm not sure where you can get a 10b but i've seen a couple on ebay that ended very cheap in the last month. the odd thing about both controllers is they have very similar designs to some of the playstation prototype controllers that never made it to production.

also here is another cheap alternative, this was one of the first hori controllers made for the original playstation and it has a better dpad then the official playstation controller. think of it as a first generation playstation controller with a sega style dpad, other then that its identical to the original playstation controller. I don't know what it's called exactly but their usually very cheap to buy.

When I search on ebay & amazon, all I get is PS3 Fighting Controllers. Where do I find one?

Yes, I would also like to know, because that controller looks awesome!

Hori rules no matter what, I've pretty much resigned myself to needing a quality joystick for Playstation games though. Every controller seems to stick pretty close to the SNES or PS1 design, and I really don't see the appeal of either.

ebay is most likely your best bet for the hori fighting commander 10b, in the past 2 months i've seen one end for $9 and the other for $25. theres one seller trying to sell one for over $100 with a buy it now but they don't sell anywhere near that and that one is way over priced. I got mine for $15 from neo-geo.com a few weeks ago so that might also be another place to check.

Get the SF anniversary controller: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=PS2+Street+fighter+controller&_sacat=1249

The Dpad and everything is amazing, I wish it was using the 4 button format, but neverless It's the best PS2 controller I've found for fighters, and they last, haven't had one die yet(unlike normal PS2 controllers, that barely last even a month).
