View Full Version : Mutant League Hockey
Electronic Arts' Mutant League series has a huge following, and all are still hoping for another sequel. The only two games ever released were both on the Genesis, and we've a review of Mutant League Hockey (http://www.sega-16.com/2006/11/mutant-league-hockey/), which many contend (including series creator Michael Mendheim) to be the weaker of the two. Still, it's an interesting take on the game, and you have to admit that video game hockey has never been so much fun!

Mutant League Hockey carries with it one of my all time favorite Genesis memories.
It was my junior year of high school, the last day before Christmas break. My friend Mike had brought his Nomad to school with a satchel of cartridges and a second controller. So my second hour physical science class comes around and he busts it out. He and I play a few rounds of MLH and manage to finish Hyperstone Heist before the class is over. Right there, in class, during a movie. It was rad.

This is a game I've wanted for a while, however, it seems to be quite rare over here in the UK.

I do want to stress that this is a great multiplayer game. You'll have a lot of fun. It just has its flaws.

That's cuz it's true. Still fun, but it doesn't hold a candle to MLF.
