View Full Version : Reader Roundtable Vol. 12 (November)
This month marks the first anniversary of our Reader Roundtable series. Each month, our staff and readers share their thoughts on the latest Genesis/Sega CD/32X games they're playing. After twelve installments, there's still plenty of 16-bit love to go around, so why not read the article (http://www.sega-16.com/2006/11/reader-roundtable-vol-12/) and see what you might be missing?

Picture and logo wrong for my game. Read it again, Ken! :p
By the way, why can't I have Rune as avatar in my site contributions? I dislike that old centaur of the Shining Force.
We can make Rune your avatar if you'd like.

Done! It's a cleaner version than the one you're using here, so feel free to use it if you like. :)

Thank you! I've always sucked at making avatars. They loose quality when I make them smaller.

Shinobi III is by far the most awesomest of games on this months list.
Just out of curiousity, as I have only been here for a few months and only been paying attention for a few weeks, is there ever a reader roundtable that tears apart the tosh Mega Drive games?

oh yeah golden axe 2 its music is good but not as good as the origenal version? the origenal version only uses the 2612 while the megadrive version makes good use of clean synthesis the music is awesome and thjat version uses the psg channels which the origenal doesnt,i prefer the md music ways over its arcade music but overall the game is damn sweet in the arcade better then the md version even, but it doesn a good job on md also.

Since that I have Phantasy Star 2 loose, now I don't feel so bad about NOT having the hintbook/manual/maps/box/etc.
I don't know about Phantasy Star 3 tho.

Cool list this month. Although I sorta disagree with the take on PSII...

Let me say it again. Shinobi III rocks.

So Nick, was the Label for Shinobi 3 ok? When I saw the cart at the store, I only saw the top of the cart, and when I bought it, I was like "uh oh, I hope it's fine".

You know I'm not that big into SUPAR MINT stuff. I don't mind, as long as it works.

I was kind of worried about G'nG...
11-29-2006, 06:14 PM
Nope, it worked fine. I'm happy with it.

I don't think my mom was when she got it for me as a gift... I recall her saying she spent $20 on it! And I got a mint cart for $4.99!

An excellent reader's roundtable, as usual. Hopefully, next month I'll be able to get back into adding to it again And maybe even a reveiw or two. :)
