I just finally downloaded all the songs via the BitTorrent file..

this is like, the best way to hear Sonic 3 and Knuckles music..

Gecko needs to compile his own remixed SOR album.


I've given the Sonic3+K remix album a listen....some pretty interesting interpretations.

Downloaded release day. Aside from the decidedly mediocre piano mixes, Project Chaos is fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the Sandopolis remix, the Marble Garden remix, and the Sky Sanctuary Remix.

On the whole, I think it turned out much better than Hedgehog Heaven (the Sonic 2 remix project.)

And while we're on the subject of remixes, would Sega-16's own Joe Redifer be the creator of the best Knuckles Chaotix remix ever, "Door Into Summer?" And that awesome remix of the Japanese Palmtree Panic song?

Yeah that's me. :)

Piano remixes are super popular over at OverClocked. That's part of the reason that the place pretty much sucks these days.

Yeah, I've noticed that. Really, the only piano remixes I can stomach are Bladiator's. They're simply on a completely different level.

The only piano mix i liked was the Tetris "McVaffeQuasi Ultimix", and even then it was mix of piano and electronic.

Huh. I dunno. He hasn't released anything in a while, now that you mention it.

I wish analoq would get back in to remixing. He had an excellent style. Jazz tinged electo-rock is the only term I can think of to describe it.
